Suzanne Snijder van Wissenkerke, massage therapist since 1991, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2002, is owner of Integrative Bodywork, located in Claremont, California.

Incorporating structural/ functional techniques as a Neuromuscular Therapist (certified with Paul St John, 1998), Suzanne followed this with Craniosacral Therapy (1998).  A life-long study of Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute) began in 1999, continuing in 2015 with Ron Mariotti, ND in Seattle.  Suzanne has held a California state massage certification since the state organized their board (2010).  She received a BA, with majors in Biology and East Asian Studies, St Olaf College, Northfield, MN.

 

She is a founding member of the Claremont Wellness Professionals, bringing together holistic-oriented professionals in the greater Claremont area for support, education, and community service since 2000.  

 

 

In addition to integrating Somatic Experiencing into her practice, Suzanne continues to assist trainings, and is an approved provider for individual sessions and case consults required for SE students in the three-year professional training program of the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SEti). 

 

Suzanne lives with her family in Claremont, and enjoys gardening with native plants, hiking in the nearby mountains, and singing with the Claremont Chorale, and traveling.
